New addition to the team

We would like to welcome Beth, who joins us as a consultant at Nordic Sustainability. With a background in geography and natural science, Beth brings a data-driven approach to sustainable thinking and is excited to apply different quantitative analytical skills to an array of sustainability challenges.

Beth was born and raised in a rural village in Scotland, spending her childhood hiking and exploring different parts of the country. Through this exploration, Beth saw people living in previously glaciated or volcanic areas, and this sparked her interest in the interconnection between the human and the natural. This took Beth to Edinburgh to study a Bachelor’s degree in Geography, where she gained a solid understanding of sustainability which she continued in her studies at The University of Copenhagen, undertaking an MSc in Geography and Geoinformatics.

Strong data and sustainability background
Since graduating, Beth has extensive experience in data applied sustainability analysis, including her role as Junior Sustainability Consultant at Metabolic, both in Amsterdam and here in Copenhagen. In this position, she worked on an array of circular economy and sustainability challenges with her main focus on Greenhouse Gas calculations, Science-based targets, and work with Scope 3 emissions. Beth will apply this previous experience in her role and is excited to help support Nordic Sustainability’s goals and values, while learning from the rest of the team.

When taking a break from thinking of the best way to analyse data, Beth can be found year-round jumping into the Copenhagen canals, attending dance classes or trying to bake something new.

We are excited to have Beth join the team!
