New Consultant joins Nordic Sustainability
We would like to welcome Eliana! She has recently joined the Nordic Sustainability team as Associate Consultant. Eliana was born and raised in Canada’s capital: Ottawa, Ontario and she obtained her Honours Bachelor’s degree from Queen’s University. During her undergraduate studies, she worked with a regional food reclamation non-profit as a food security analyst and community programs coordinator. As a graduating MSc student in political science at the University of Copenhagen, she has taken a concentration of courses in foreign and environmental policy.
Throughout the course of her studies, Eliana has been involved with a number of sustainability focused organizations. She joins us after completing a student position with the United Nations Environment Programme- DHI Centre. The Centre is a longstanding partnership between UNEP and a global water resource management firm based in Copenhagen. She has supported data collection for the Sustainable Development Goal 6.5.1 on integrated water resource development on a global scale. She was also responsible for the main communication between the Centre and the nominated Focal Point for UN member states.
Eliana is looking forward to bringing her previous education and experience to help support the Nordic Sustainability goals and values. She is very excited to learn from the team and further refine her skillset. When not at the office, you can find Eliana working away on her Master’s thesis or baking sweet treats.
We’re proud and happy to add Eliana to our team!
