New Consultant joins Nordic Sustainability
Say “Hi!” to Daniel, one of Nordic Sustainability’s newest team members. With a background in urban anthropology and the social sciences, Daniel brings a focus on design and communication to the office and is excited to tackle our clients most pernicious sustainability challenges.
Where cities and sustainability intersect
Daniel is a recent graduate of the 4CITIES Erasmus Mundus Programme in Urban Studies – an interdisciplinary master’s in urban geography, history and urban planning over two years with one semester each in Brussels, Vienna, Copenhagen and Madrid. In this programme, Daniel focused on lifecycle sustainability analyses of the infrastructure that ties cities to natural environments – both local and across the globe.
Concurrently studying in KEA’s Multimedia Design Programme, Daniel will be lending his skills to the strategy, communications and design work at Nordic Sustainability. He will also help drive the company’s ongoing projects, particularly focused on the private sector.
Daniel’s passion for sustainability was inspired by early experiences canoeing, hiking and guiding in the Canadian wilderness, and Daniel is motivated to help make cities more sustainable. When not reading, writing or thinking about sustainability, you can find Daniel skateboarding to his favourite thrift stores or dabbling in vegan cooking. Daniel loves to get outside and travel, as often as possible under his own power, be it trail running or bicycle touring.
We are very excited to have Daniel join our team!
