As the Communication Associate, Marlies actively involves herself with contemporary topics and concepts related to sustainability, democracy, and cross-cultural communication.
Marlies is the go-to person for all things communication, handling updates for the company website, social media channels, and webinars. Additionally, she assists in creating project materials and supports larger client projects, including Oatly and their sustainability communications. With her expertise in communication and sustainability, Marlies plays a crucial role in ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.
Marlies is currently pursuing her Master’s in Media and Communication studies at Lund university. Prior to joining Nordic Sustainability, Marlies held a student position at BOSCH Japan, where she worked with business development and internal marketing at the Connected Mobility Solutions department. She has also previously worked as a writer for The Perspective Magazine, reporting on issues ranging from human security to sustainable development.
