Emma is passionate about furthering the sustainability transformation of the corporate sector and in the Global South. As part of Nordic Sustainability’s ESRS team, Emma is focused on keeping track of the EU’s sustainability initiatives and assisting companies with embedding sustainability into their core business through the implementation of ESRS. 

During her time with Nordic Sustainability, Emma has contributed to developing our materiality assessment and data gap tools to help companies get started on their ESRS journey. Currently, Emma has focused her efforts on assisting companies to integrate ESRS into all aspects of their business and use sustainability reporting as a transformational tool.

Emma holds a BSc in International Business & Politics from Copenhagen Business School and an MSc in Sustainability and Social Innovation from HEC Paris. Emma also brings experience from various internships. As an intern with the Embassy of Denmark in Cairo, Emma worked on developing a new sustainability strategy for the Embassy. Emma has also interned in Mauritius with Instiglio, an NGO that aims to increase global development effectiveness by implementing results-based financing mechanisms in sectors such as healthcare and education.
