David employs an interdisciplinary approach to data-driven problem-solving, bringing expertise in data analysis, Excel modeling, stakeholder management, and story-telling. He is passionate about finding patterns in large datasets and communicating them in a clear and concise manner.
Throughout his time at Nordic Sustainability David has led and conducted several projects, including:
- A double materiality assessment and data gap for a Danish steel manufacturer
- Greenhouse gas inventories and climate transition plans for several clients
- A sector analysis of the music sector in the Nordics
- A biodiversity maturity assessments of Danish companies
He has previous sustainability experience from the agribusiness sector, where he worked as a sustainability analyst, helping organisations reach sustainability goals such as facilitating living wage payments, securing future sourcing of commodities, or setting up baseline assessments to monitor the future impact of sustainability programs. He holds a M.Sc. in Environment & Development from the University of Copenhagen.
A huge inspiration of mine, the late Hans Rosling, said it best: “The world cannot be understood without numbers. But the world cannot be understood with numbers alone.”
