As a consultant on the Sustainable Finance team, Emily facilitates financial sector clients, from PE firms to banks, in leading the transition towards a just and sustainable future for people and the planet.

From her previous role as a climate analyst in the responsible investments team at Nordea Asset Management, Emily recognises that the financial sector is the key lever for change. At Nordic Sustainability, Emily supports financial sector clients in actualising this change through developing ambitious, responsible investment policies and impact investing strategies. She has also conducted CSRD-aligned double materiality assessments for companies across a range of sectors and contributed to the NS double materiality assessment approach for financial sector clients

Emily’s interdisciplinary academic background includes a BA in Economics and Law from the University of Cambridge, an MSc in Environment and Development from the University of Copenhagen, and a sustainable finance accreditation from the Cambridge Institute of Sustainable Leadership. Emily is a proud participant in Dansk Industri’s working group ‘More Women in Consulting,’ in which she hopes to contribute expertise in political feminist ecology and intersectionality from her MSc to promote more inclusive corporate realities in the consulting industry.

“By working with financial clients, my role at Nordic Sustainability provides a unique opportunity to move capital towards more sustainable business models. The potential for impact is immense!”
