Frederik is a Senior Consultant on the Climate team, where he helps organisations design and deliver ambitious climate strategies. He combines narrative driven storytelling with quantitative analysis and stakeholder engagement to align interests and drive action.
Before joining Nordic Sustainability, Frederik worked as a consultant at Bain & Company, advising clients across sectors, particularly advanced manufacturing and renewables, on decarbonisation, biodiversity, and energy transition policy and technology. His work focused on helping organizations embed sustainability at scale, collaborating with clients to develop strategies, build internal capabilities, and translate ambition into action. He is particularly interested in the role of policy and private enterprise in accelerating the net zero transition.
He holds a B.Sc. in Environmental Geoscience from the University of British Columbia and an M.Sc. in Environmental Engineering from the Danish Technical University. His academic research and fieldwork, from impacts of climate change on tundra ecosystems in Canada’s Arctic islands to drivers and eventual fate of plastic pollution in global oceans, continue to shape his systems based and data backed approach to sustainability.
Spending time in nature reminds me what’s at stake. Sustainability isn’t just a professional calling. It’s a way of thinking, living, and engaging with the world that I try to bring into everything I do.
