With a background in fashion design and production, our office manager, Rikke, knows how important structure is in a creative and forward-thinking environment.
After studying at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, Rikke originally started out as a pattern maker and design assistant and has worked with some of the largest and most well-known Danish fashion brands, such as DKCompany and Julie Fagerholdt Heartmade. While doing so, she developed a keen sense of structure and order necessary when working with creatives in a fast-paced environment.
However, as her values no longer aligned with the textile industry’s environmental impact, she pivoted into Administration and HR. At Nordic, she is responsible for keeping the office up and running on a daily basis and has recently spearheaded the hunt for a bigger office space to support our growing organisation.
I care deeply about making sure our team has the right prerequisites to do what they do best, both in terms of physical conditions and employee welfare measures. They take care of the planet, and I take care of them.
