With a background in fashion design and production, our office manager Rikke knows how important structure is in a creative and forward-thinking environment.
After studying at FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) in New York, Rikke originally started out as a pattern maker and design assistant and has since worked in some of the largest and most well-known Danish fashion brands like DKCompany and Julie Fagerholdt Heartmade. While doing so, she developed a keen sense for structure and order necessary when working with creatives in a fast-paced environment.
However, as her values developed over the years and she no longer felt an alignment with the textile industry’s environmental impact, she made a switch into HR, and most recently took part in a major project with the Danish government, implementing a new IT system for schedule-planning in Copenhagen hospitals, allowing her to dive deep into workers’ rights and workplace environment regulations.
Sustainability is about more than the environment, it’s also about people. I care deeply about making sure our team has the right prerequisites to do what they do best, both in terms of physical conditions and employee welfare measures.”
