Supporting Coloplast through the process of creating their sustainability strategy

Back to list

Nordic Sustainability supported Coloplast through the process of creating their Strive25 sustainability strategy, including a Future-Fit baseline impact assessment, a collaborative process to set KPIs and targets, develop initiatives and implementation plans.

The brief

Coloplast wished to conduct an in-depth materiality analysis, update its sustainability strategy and consolidate on the strong foundation of its existing sustainability initiatives.

Our approach

100%

reduction

in Scope 1+2 by 2030, 50% in Scope 3

The project began with a comprehensive materiality analysis, using the Future-Fit business benchmark, and involving stakeholders across the organisation. Once impacts were clear, key strategic targets and KPIs were developed, ensuring aligned with leading frameworks (such as SBTi). A thorough initiative scoping phase with teams across the organisation then enabled the development of an implementation roadmap to achieve the strategy.

Result

  • Strive25, an ambitious and comprehensive sustainability strategy with SBTI-aligned emissions reductions, clear product and packaging goals, and operational focus.
  • Implementation roadmap and scoped initiative plan.
  • Clear alignment and capacity building across the organisation.

Nordic Sustainability was a competent, passionate, and professional partner for us in the development of our sustainability strategy. They helped us reach a solid baseline understanding of our impacts and were integral in ensuring our efforts have a high ambition level.
