Esben is an experienced sustainability advisor and entrepreneur that thrives when challenging the status quo in both roles. At Nordic Sustainability, he supports a portfolio of companies and third sector organisations in becoming the sustainability leaders of tomorrow while building a company that lives and breathes sustainability itself.

Since co-founding Nordic Sustainability, Esben has overseen sustainability materiality, strategy, and implementation projects with larger corporates across the Nordic countries and Germany. Sector specific experience include; pharmaceutical, finance, energy, food and beverage, paints and coating, and materials recycling. In addition, Esben has supported several philanthropic foundations, international organisations, NGOs, and think tanks in analysing sustainability impact and developing strategies.

Esben has a background as a sustainability advisor and manager in the think tank industry working in partnership with larger companies, philanthropic foundations, and international organisations. He was formerly the Director of Insights at the sustainability think tank, Sustaina and holds a MA in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen.
