As a senior consultant on the ESRS team, Saara helps companies drive lasting change by integrating sustainability into their operations.
In her role, she focuses on helping businesses unlock value through effective CSRD implementation. Before joining Nordic Sustainability, Saara worked at the Helsinki-based sustainability consultancy Gaia. There, she supported companies navigating the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and helped them communicate their sustainability journeys credibly.
Saara’s background lies in communications, having worked as a consultant and manager in London and Helsinki. Her academic journey reflects her passion for sustainability and as such, during her studies, she explored climate communication, inspiring her commitment to foster change and support a more sustainable future. She holds a master’s degree in Media and Communications from Lund University and a bachelor’s in English and Media from the University of Sussex.
